howdy all

lifes crazy as always. Holidays are over! and trying to get back to a "normal" routine. funny I know! I was going over school stuff, what we have done so far this year. I was feeling stressed about it, though we were way behind where I wanted us to be, my usual. When I was going over it all I was shocked! We have done a lot! I have not posted near as much as usual, I am slacking! I am very happy with what the kids have done so far!
We built a volcano last week, lots of natural disaster talk going on! One of these days soon I want to make it to the Airplane museum in Wichita! Sir N is doing some amazing cooking these days! His spagettie is a hit, we cant get enough. I have the recipe to share with ya'll!
He made a Vegan chocolate cake that was soooooo good! Could not get enough! I was so amazed at how good the cake was. We had found a recipe for one, but did not like some of it, so by the time I got through changing it we had a totally different recipe than started out with. LOL! It was good! Examiner
Chubs has his first 2 adult teeth! He is very happy bout them! I was reading about children and getting teeth and ages to start reading and writing, recognizing alphabet. How a lot of children show no signs of readiness and then teeth come in and they are ready, usually around 7 years old. I was shocked when I was rolling what I had read round my head, and suddenly he is excited over teeth, and recognizing letters he had struggled with! I had been worried about him, catching things slower than the others did, he has caught on to different things over the last year but still worried me. Now all the sudden he is a sponge, soaking it all up and retaining it finally!
We have been talking and studying COB! I have wanted to build a cob home for years, I have my home designed. The kids are doing an architecture and we are adding COB building onto it. It will be a long study, we will do a lot come spring- Summer! Kids are talking a bench to sit on, BBQ/Fire pit, possible Gazebo if I am brave enough to let them attempt it! Several small projects being planned.
I have had some unexpected business inhterest sent my way. Not sure if it will do much, but would be nice if it did. I also did an interview on teaching math for another business. scroll down some to find it. Interview
Bubba had a birthday the 7th! He is growing so fast! it amazes me! Boo has one this week, he will be 17 years old! waaaaa
While setting small goals for myself has been something I try to do all the time, I usually dont make them public. But I have made a goal to be able to walk the Autism Walk in Wichita in April!
will post again soon! give you all time to read the links posted, share your thoughts, and consider a pledge for walking~

Just to answer a few questions about business

So both my sites were down and when came back most of the info was gone! So I have help and am working hard to get them back up and running. In the mean time if anyone needs a service or product email me at ladyjae@essencethrutheages.com I am hoping to have them completed soon. You can go to Renaissance of Natural Healing now, Its not complete but it is up.
I am still filling orders and providing service. If you want to know more contact me. I can let you know more about services, cost, products whatever your interested in knowing.
For those that have asked to know more about my business I have 2. One is all natural products, soaps, cleaners, shampoo, hair spray and much more. There are natural healing products, lotions, creams and rubs for aches and pains, cuts, bites, burns, oatmeal baths, herbal baths, bath salts, and my own special bath mix like nothing you ever had! I have gift packs so much more.
If you are in need of something and dont see it listed, or if its before my site is up let me know I may be able to custom make for you. I do a lot of that. Let me know your needs and wants I may be able to help. I make more than I have listed.

My 2nd business is Natural Healing. I use a variety of methods. My focus in the beginning is Nutritional Healing, much more than diet and what you eat. I can work with clients far away due to phones, IM, email, web cam! If its something hands on you want, reflexology or something you need to be near but otherwise you can be away and I can help. I offer different packages and payment options. I specialize in Pregnancies, Nursing moms, Families, Special Needs like Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Pain control and pain causing illness, and much more. I offer family packages, individual and couples. I have a variety of offers.
I have low costs because I want all to get care when they need it. I do not want money to keep a person from seeking help. I have payment arrangements also. And unlike other places if you make payments I do not tack on a lot extra, I charge a small fee for each payment, aprox $5.00 each payment to cover the cost of each payment and paper work for me.
I do not furnish supplements and other stuff. If its something I sell on www.essencethrutheages.com you can get it from me, other wise I will give you my recomendations and you will need to purchase separately. I can give you places to buy, or I can purchase for you through my suppliers and sell it to you at my cost. I do get many discounts. So you would save money that way. Its up to each client. There are many things I make and sell on Essence Thru The Ages, some thats not on the site. So my clients should always ask if they are interested in buying from me, other wise you will need to go else where
Why do I do it that way? Well I do not want the 2 business's ran together, or for clients to feel I am pushing My product on them, or my customers to feel I am pushing them into being a client. So they are 2 business's, ran separate. www.renaissanceofnaturalhealing.com for Natural Healing.

I also have a promotional deal going. Any one thats interested can take part just email me
If you want to take part heres what we do
I send you flyers for one or both business, along with business cards, I put a code on then that is unique to every one doing it. You leave them all over. Keep them with you and leave them every where you go, if you talk to someone you think may be interested give them one. For every sale made due to your flyer you get your choice, money, discount on service or product, or save it and get free service or product. So if your interested in this let me know as well. I am working on sample packs to sell, that you will be able to purchase for a low cost. If interested in 1 let me know.

Busy Busy Busy

Yes Busy is what we are! School is going for the kids. We are still trying to get settled into routine that will work for us. The kids have a full load so far. We are going to do a 4 day schedule instead of 5. We have always preferred it that way. Last year we did not do it that way and it was harder. So we are going to 4 this year. I am back working. Still recovering from surgery but feeling up to working some, plus I cant pay bills if I am not working. So I am working. I am in school also. I am learning a lot. My hobby I have had for so long making personal care products- shampoo, hair care, body, face, muscle rubs, massage oils, creams, salves, house hold cleaners and all that has grown into a business. I am still working on the web site. Hope to finish soon. I wanted it completed already but its hard to get it done. I have had a few orders! I am going to a show next Saturday, a friend has a booth selling stuff. I will be there trying to sell stuff and get the word out. I am trying to spread the word. I am making everyone I know an offer. If you refer someone to my site and they either purchase product or I see them as for a client as a healer I will either give a discount to the referring person or a portion of what I make. So if anyone is interested let me know. I am giving website info to people and to those who want paper I am sending brochures to them to have out. The Healer part is a different web site than the product part. Its not as far along as the other. As I do my schooling seeing clients is part of learning. So I am spreading the word on that also. Setting up a site and doing lots of praying! The awesome part about being a Natural Healer is that so much can be done by phone, IM, web cam, email or in person. I cant do hands on if your not in front of me but I can help a lot in other ways. My main focus at this time is Nutritional Healing. I have learned much about healing through nutrition. And also Typing- Temperaments. Interesting stuff.
We have some new additions to the family! 4 adorable chicks!!!! They are so cute. I will snap pics soon. So add to the chaos and mess in my home from 10 people living it, 4 chicks!
I am going to be teaching Boo Home Study Seminary this year. We start this week! Scary and intimidating and I will learn a lot from it. I did not know until Wednesday its a Stake Calling, I will be set apart tomorrow. I am glad for that. I will so need that extra Blessing to help me with it.
Its late I have to be up early tomorrow. I will post again soon, possibly tomorrow. When I do I will be posting links to the web sites. If anyone is interested in helping spread the word let me know, and if your interested in either purchasing or the healing part let me know as well.

Laundry soap!

I love this stuff, it smells good, takes out stains, whitens, removes odors and is cheap! Its chemical free so it does not cause anyone here a rash or breathing issues, no migrains or vomiting when I do laundry! so here it is, I posted a link about it before but never the recipe I use here is my personal recipe
3 quarts hot water on stove heat(can use smaller amount if pan wont hold that much make sure its enough to dissolve powders)
add 2 cups Yucca root(mine is ground)
3 cups baking soda
3 cups borax
mix and heat till dissolves- watch close it will bubble and come out fast
pour into 5 gallon bucket
add 3 cups vinegar
tea tree oil- not sure how much I use I just add what I want probably 2 or 3 TBS, maybe more, as I do laundry on real nasty loads I add more to the washer
any other oils you want I used orange, lavender, pine tree, eucalyptus oils to mine this time.
I use enough to make it smell how I want. So use what oils you want in amount you want, a tsp each is about right, give or take some!
mix well fill bucket the rest of way
I fill an old laundry soap bucket and put my bucket away, refilling laundry soap container as needed. This stuff works great(even mom agrees and she is picky and was hard to convince home made laundry soap would be ok)
I made this new batch not telling kids, PeekaChoo came down stairs wanting to know what he could smell, the smell took over the whole house! It smells good! The only chemical or close to it in this is the borax.
You can purchase Yucca root online at can purchase online at http://www.frontiercoop.com/products.php?ct=hchhaz&cn=Yucca+Root
it is expensive but I bought my bag in 2006, I have enough left to make at least one more batch of laundry soap, I have made many already. 1 batch lasts about 3 months with my family of 9 people-2 that have accidents a lot(mostly BM from ds with bowel issues) We do laundry daily, at least 3 loads a day. So its worth it. I use regular baking soda, not the kind some but for cleaning, it works the same.

Laundry soap

Ya I know sounds kinda boring dont it! Laundry soap, only Jae would write about laundry soap. Well not only am I writing about it, but I made it myself! Yes You read right! I was making my own for a long time, but the only ways I came across were powder, and I do not like powder laundry soap. I have to be vey careful on what kind I use due to allergies. The wrong kind and I am one sick puppy! Or my kids get a horrid rash. Well I ran onto a site- homeschooler led me to it. It has 10 different recipes! Now knowing what I do about doing things naturally, and all that I know its possible to make it and have it work! So I decided to giver another go! This time with liquid! I know one more reason for ya'll to think I am nuts, and thats ok, you can think what you want. Hey I am a little on the nutty side. Here is a link to the site  I based my soap off.  Homemade laundry soap
I changed my recipe a little. I had some ground Yucca root, I have used before in place of soap, so I used it instead of the soap. Since I dont use soap I dont have any! I added 2 cups vinegar, and my essential oils. Tea tree oil and mandarine orange. I like the smell of the orange, and the tea tree is good for killing stuff. I used recipe # 2 with my changes- the yucca root instead of soap, and the vinegar. I put the vinegar in because I dont use fabric softners or dryer sheets. I have used vinegar with my laundry soap before, it helps soften them. Hopefully it works this way, if not well I am not really out anything.
1 load washed, very clean, smells good and soft! 2nd load in and washing! I found a place to get seeds for Yucca Root last night. I am going to attempt to grow my own, then I have it fresh without buying!!!
I have been fighting the climbing rose bush outside. I'll post pics when I am done with that battle. It was almost all dead, so I am having to remove so much dead, and there was a lot not even attached to the bush but mixed up in it. Messy stuff, and mean also! I have battle wounds all over my arms, but thats what you get when you go into battle with a rose bush with out gloves! I went and bought gloves after the main fight was over. Big DUH there! We are going to be working on the outside of the house a lot over the next week or 2. I need to get all the dead branches and stuff in a pile and ready to burn. I'll be getting a burn permit from the city, its only good for 2 weeks. So I want it all ready to go at once so I can get it done. Some of it that will be good for the wood burning stove will be cut and stacked in the garage.
We are also going to be getting ready for the garden and planting seeds for it and for flowers.
