March!!

March is here! March brings celebrations, warm weather, rains, new growth, flowers, seeds and gardens, planting, digging, Birthdays and Anniversaries. It begins the busier part of the year a new season and hopefully more memories! With Park trips to plan, flowers to plant, weeding in the future, play grounds, walks, spring time and summer fun. water parks, sprinklers, picnic in the park and whatever else comes up!

March brings a lot to celebrate! Little loo turns 12 on March 10th. I guess she is not so little anymore instead a young woman in the making. I love to watch her grow and change, maturing into a young lady. She has a sweet, loving nurturing side to her. Fast to help anyone ill or in pain, caring deeply for family and friends, and when she hurts she hurts deeply. She is growing fast. It fills me with joy to watch, and brings tears to my eyes at times. My baby growing, no longer a baby. We are still working out Birthday details but I think it will be a small private family celebration.

After that is March 12th. I have plans for the day. Its mine and Larry's anniversary. We will be married 13 years next Saturday. There wont be a celebration, I plan on a visit, and the 2 of us will spend what we can of the day together. I hope to be able to make the drive to see him.  I have not spent an anniversary with him since 2006, so while it may not seem like much to most it will be to me.

After that are many other Birthdays through the month. Many cousins will celebrate this year!  The first day of Spring! We have friends who will celebrate Purim and have asked us to join them. It gives me a chance to read more scriptures with the kids, show them where we have similar teachings, books and where we are different in Religious beliefs. I have looked for Dairy free recipes to make to share the Celebration with them. And in searching have found some cool stuff to do, some Religous some not! Here is a link thats pretty cool.

we will hopefully finish garden plans, get the ground ready, and plant when its time. This time of year I find myself thinking of all the fun things I can do with the kids during the spring and summer. Planning how to do things, making sure we are prepared when we go anywhere to stop and play at a park! To make things easier  for me in the summer we keep a blanket and pillow in the van. On days we have outings we make sure to take snacks and water. If I get tired we find a park, stop and play. I rest a while and watch them play. When I feel more energetic we head on our way! I keep a camera on me all the time so I can take pics playing at the park.  Every Spring I think spring is my favorite time of year, thenSummer comes and goes and I am soon convinced Fall is my favorite time of year. So i guess once again its time to start enjoying Spring, the smells, feel, breeze the season brings. For now I will enjoy my Favorite time of the year Spring

                                            UNTIL FALL THAT IS!

I hope all my friends and family take time to enjoy each season as they come ~That Each Season may be your favorite as it happens

That you can and will take time to enjoy your family  Love them every day and always make sure they know Find time for parks and picnics                                                                                                                                                                            Dandelions or Daffodils

dance in the bubbles and build memories for the future

howdy all

lifes crazy as always. Holidays are over! and trying to get back to a "normal" routine. funny I know! I was going over school stuff, what we have done so far this year. I was feeling stressed about it, though we were way behind where I wanted us to be, my usual. When I was going over it all I was shocked! We have done a lot! I have not posted near as much as usual, I am slacking! I am very happy with what the kids have done so far!
We built a volcano last week, lots of natural disaster talk going on! One of these days soon I want to make it to the Airplane museum in Wichita! Sir N is doing some amazing cooking these days! His spagettie is a hit, we cant get enough. I have the recipe to share with ya'll!
He made a Vegan chocolate cake that was soooooo good! Could not get enough! I was so amazed at how good the cake was. We had found a recipe for one, but did not like some of it, so by the time I got through changing it we had a totally different recipe than started out with. LOL! It was good! Examiner
Chubs has his first 2 adult teeth! He is very happy bout them! I was reading about children and getting teeth and ages to start reading and writing, recognizing alphabet. How a lot of children show no signs of readiness and then teeth come in and they are ready, usually around 7 years old. I was shocked when I was rolling what I had read round my head, and suddenly he is excited over teeth, and recognizing letters he had struggled with! I had been worried about him, catching things slower than the others did, he has caught on to different things over the last year but still worried me. Now all the sudden he is a sponge, soaking it all up and retaining it finally!
We have been talking and studying COB! I have wanted to build a cob home for years, I have my home designed. The kids are doing an architecture and we are adding COB building onto it. It will be a long study, we will do a lot come spring- Summer! Kids are talking a bench to sit on, BBQ/Fire pit, possible Gazebo if I am brave enough to let them attempt it! Several small projects being planned.
I have had some unexpected business inhterest sent my way. Not sure if it will do much, but would be nice if it did. I also did an interview on teaching math for another business. scroll down some to find it. Interview
Bubba had a birthday the 7th! He is growing so fast! it amazes me! Boo has one this week, he will be 17 years old! waaaaa
While setting small goals for myself has been something I try to do all the time, I usually dont make them public. But I have made a goal to be able to walk the Autism Walk in Wichita in April!
will post again soon! give you all time to read the links posted, share your thoughts, and consider a pledge for walking~

August is here

New month so I thought I would do a short update and share some pics with you all. We are doing good. We have orientation for school next Tuesday. We go in, kids will get their computers, sign contracts all that fun stuff. Get our calender for the year. They get brand new comps next year. Benefit to the program!
I talked to the Seminary teacher about Seminary and Boo. Looks like he should be able to home study. He will meet her weekly, and go the the activities. So it will be good. She was awesome! He staffed the camp last week, they called me yesterday to see if he could stay an extra week to help. I went ahead and let him. He needs the break and after he gets home school starts and he has to go back to helping around here.
Loo had camp last week. I picked her up Friday evening, had tacos in a bag! She had lots of fun. She built a doll house out of card board. I will snap pics later to add here. She had lots of fun. I think this camp has been an awesome experience for them all. They will be going again next year for sure! Bubba stayed home and helped me all week. He was awesome.
here are pics, enjoy!

and I cant remember what other spice Loo decided it needed. But it is one delicious fruit salad
also I have 2 Rose of Sharon trees they are blooming!!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL! I will snap pics this week for yawl's(is that hick enuff fer ya?) and post them. Garden is doing good. My corn is popping up pretty good! And squash. Not sure I have any tomato left. The birds may have eaten them, I cant remember what was planted where, so it will be a surprise, and now I am afraid to weed, it may not be a weed. The year I pulled all the carrots thinking they were weeds keeps going through my mind! I do not want a repeat!
I am transferring all posts from the old blog so I don't loose them over here, so if you start seeing posts that make no sense for the timing that's why. They will be new here. Be a walk down memory lane!
I found garlic in the yard growing today! MMMMMMMMM you know how I am, picked it and ate it raw right there! I did not eat the whole thing but part, so good. I love garlic! I have so much stuff growing around the yard, I AM GOING TO HAVE TO INVEST IN BETTER HERB IDENTIFYNG BOOKS THAN WHAT I HAVE. I CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT ANYTHING IS. I AM WAITING ON MY TEACHER TO HELP IDENTIFY ONE THING. oops there goes the caps again, sorry. To lazy to go back n fix it!
I am working. May not be after the 3rd. I am working on school, thinking I will try to study more while not working if I end up job hunting. Hope I don't. I have already looked at a couple other companies.
I am really enjoying learning. Right now I am just studying pretty basic stuff, nutritional healing. I have not learned anything I did not know, but have been reminded of many things I have forgotten. The class even takes a religious view, not any 1 view, but 2. It is interesting to see the similarities, and how following the belief leads to suck a healthy diet, a better way to care for ones body. I had not realized other religions had such strong views on diet and everything. I know the WOW for me as an LDS person. But the Koran has reference, the Bible has more reference than I knew. I know we use it also, but I did not know how much is in it about diet, eating and caring for the body. How herbs are here for us to heal and medicinal reasons and stuff. Its interesting. I am enjoying that its also reinforcing my religious view on diet, the W O W, care of the body, herbs place in our life.

I also got results on chubby's tests today. The enema and x ray show no abnormalities beyond the damage done by the chronic constipation and impaction. Massive stretching, may or may not go back like it should eventually. Only time will tell. The blood tests for celiac say negative. They did all kinds of tests for it, I was lost when she went over it. The nurse is all I talked to. I have questions for the doc so she will be calling me tomorrow. If its not an abnormality or Celiac I want to know what it is! We are going on a GF diet for a min of 1 month to see if it does anything. I have learned that the blood tests do not always come back accurate, and you can react to gluten with out it being celiac also. So we will all change diet. I have to wait till I can go shopping and buy for it for a month. So it will start next week. Many of us have the symptoms of celiacs. I am really wondering about me and a couple other kids. So we will see. The worst that happens will be we do it, no changes. We will know for sure.
I am going to try to work out a 1 month menu, breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the end of the month we will look at everyone and see how we are. I know if any one of us needs the GF diet we all have to pretty much do it, its to hard to have foods in the house that basically poison you and not eat them, to hard to cook separate meals. I wont do it.
Chubby still is dairy free. He will have to stay that way indefinitely. I will know tomorrow if I can make yogurt from coconut milk for him. I have the stuff, and its made the same as I make the other yogurt, but a coconut tastes I guess. Sounds yummy actually! So if Doc agrees that's how I will make his yogurt. We saw the new Ped today. This is the one that saw him in the ER and got it so he could see the specialist. I like her for the most part, some things I am unsure on but over all I like her. She is concerned about the lack of calcium due to no dairy and wants him taking calcium. I how ever am not sure than just giving him a pill is the best way to cover the need. So I am looking through school material, and considering asking my teacher her thoughts, also going into herbalist tomorrow and see what she says and has. There has to be another way. I know some teas have the vitamins and minerals we need, we can get them all through herbal teas, I am wondering if there is one that will give him his calcium.
so now you have my rambling thoughts. Remember as you read over the next while if things don't make sense its due to my bringing posts from the old blog over here. I am going to start at its beginning and work through. I may not bring them all, I am not sure. There are some very hard times, sensitive, emotional writings on the old blog. So if you get confused and wonder what is going on just drop me a note, give me a call and ask. I do not know how long it will take me to get it all done, or the easiest way to do it. I think I can bring them over and keep them private, I thought about that so I don't mess with the flow here, but then people wont be able to read and I know several people look through for reference and things in their life's. So I just don't know
anyways love y'all
I'll snap pics this week
oh and Nana will be back tomorrow, and boo is gone to a week long training at camp to learn to work it next year! I am so proud of him for that! He gets home Friday and then leaves early Monday for a week of scout camp! When I say early I mean ewwwwwwwwwwwwww make me cry early, I have to drive an hour there and he has to be there at I believe it was somewhere between 3 or 4 am! WAAAAAAA. He may find somewhere to sleep over so I do not have to make the trip that time in the morning. I am thinking I hope that's what happens.

Today is my chubby's Birthday!!

Yes he is 6 years old today!! I cant believe it! I work this morning then its Birthday time! We were going to attempt an outside at the park thing, but its looking kinda icky outside! So I am thinking inside will have to do. I will take LOTS of pictures and put them on later! You know what he said this morning? It was so cute. I woke up, then he did. I said "its my baby boys birthday" gave him a big momma hug, he says "Im not a baby now mom I am a big boy" Well how do I argue that? I am encouraging big boy stuff, but he is MY baby! So I decide I will let him think he is a big boy, but secretly he can still be my baby boy! So he is not allowed to read this blog entry- ever!

Today is also Fibromyalgia Awareness day! Check out this site to learn a little more about it http://www.fmaware.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=8833
I have been doing a lot of reading, trying to find some new ways to help relieve pain. I have some new ideas to try. But thought that it being Fibro Awareness day I would share a link, there is so much more info out there, if your interested ask me, or do a web search. Just be careful not everything you read is true!

I walked around the house the other night and took pictures of some of the flowers growing! I have a beautiful yellow rose bush! I did not know about it! Lots of other pretty flowers, yellows, purples I love it! I dont know what all the flowers are. I wish I did. There are some small yellow that are beautiful, some white, some purple, I have no clue. I am not good at identifying plants, this is where Ineed Sister Chandler!! She can identify anything! She is awesome when it comes to that no one can top her! So PPresident Chandler, show her my pics and ask her if she knows please??? Before I go insaner! Is that a word?
To bad my NEW mower wont start to mow my over grown lawn that looks horrid because its so long!Going to take it back as soon as I get a chance, My yard looks terrible because of not being mowed, think I am going to end up paying someone to do it for me!
