school assignments for kids

I had my hysterectomy Friday and am doing good. Pretty much sticking to my room. I am up and around some, not much. The kids are hanging out in the schoolroom next to my room. They have been working on school.
Last week they had their first art class and assignment. Thought I would share their art work with everyone. Baby E is not a student but she thinks she is so she did her best drawing also! For 3 I think she did awesome!

Also looking for a business name that will cover everything when done with school. I plan on the line of products I am coming up with to be a part of it. So any ideas? I will be a Naturopathic Healer, with Masters in Herbology, a few other Masters also. Need ideas of using Lady Jae in that.

Tomorrows the Big day!

So tomorrow is the big day for my surgery. At the Hospital at 5 am. Good news! Doc says I should be able to leave tomorrow! No stay!!!!! I hate hospitals so that makes me so happy. We went to the park yesterday all day long.I decided we have not much and we needed to. I have not taken the kids much recently because I usually walk while they play but I cant do that right now. But I found another way to ass my time while there! I take a sheet, throw on grounds, and study while they play! I have always loved to lay outside and read so this is awesome for me. I'll update again after surgery. Anyone concerned can email or call and check up Friday or Saturday

August is here!

And with it comes school! We went to our orientation this week. picked up kids computers, got info for this year. I am excited. They will have art class, music classes, choir possibly, plus all their other stuff. I am waiting on an answer on 2 classes. I want their Language Arts and Science to be through k12, the rest through Odyssey. Hope to get a response soon. Sebastian is being enrolled this year. I am trying to set up our schedule for the year. We will do cooking/baking 1 day a week like in the past, History projects, Science stuff, all on 1 day, maybe 2 due to time. I have to work and do school. Our schedule will be up early, school right off, done by 12-1 ish and I work then. In between shifts I will help them with anything they need help. I am also setting aside 1-2 hours a day specifically for Sebastian. He is still struggling but I think he will catch on soon. Thursdays they have virtual art and music class! 1 time a month we will spend the day in class in person with other students! That will be awesome. Choir is being offered and Loo wants it! I have had to buy school supplies(snuck up on me) I managed that fairly cheap- for 6 kids. They will each have their own box of stuff. The next week we will spend getting the schoolroom organized and together for school. Our first day will be Monday the 10th! We always start with something fun but not sure what this year. Have to think fast!
I have my hysterectomy the 14th. Hope to bounce back fast. I had to have another MRI on the hip and back today. Not sure when I will get results, I have an appointment in 3 weeks but doc wants me back sooner so I am waiting for a cancellation to see him sooner. He thinks I have sciatica. So looking for cause. I am not stressing over it yet, will wait and see what he says and then stress!
Over all we are all good. Busy but in good ways. Loving my kids, school is good! Loving the learning, hate assignments but managing them. Got an A on my first assignment! Did not expect that. Thats bout all

August is here

New month so I thought I would do a short update and share some pics with you all. We are doing good. We have orientation for school next Tuesday. We go in, kids will get their computers, sign contracts all that fun stuff. Get our calender for the year. They get brand new comps next year. Benefit to the program!
I talked to the Seminary teacher about Seminary and Boo. Looks like he should be able to home study. He will meet her weekly, and go the the activities. So it will be good. She was awesome! He staffed the camp last week, they called me yesterday to see if he could stay an extra week to help. I went ahead and let him. He needs the break and after he gets home school starts and he has to go back to helping around here.
Loo had camp last week. I picked her up Friday evening, had tacos in a bag! She had lots of fun. She built a doll house out of card board. I will snap pics later to add here. She had lots of fun. I think this camp has been an awesome experience for them all. They will be going again next year for sure! Bubba stayed home and helped me all week. He was awesome.
